Every contractor knows the struggle: more people are leaving the trades than joining. The few who do step in are trying to fill the boots of those who spent years mastering their craft — and that kind of skill doesn’t come overnight.
At King Stud Carpentry, we see it every day — the long hours, the labor shortage, and the pride it still takes to get the job done right. We’re looking for people who show up, work hard, and respect the trade. If that sounds like you, we’ve got a spot waiting. 💪

🏗️ The Trades Are Facing a Critical Shortage — and It’s Impacting Everyone.
For every five skilled tradespeople leaving the industry, only one new worker is stepping in to replace them. According to the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), the construction industry will need over 500,000 additional workers in 2025 just to meet demand. Meanwhile, a 2023 study by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce found that 88% of contractors report difficulty finding skilled labor — one of the highest rates on record.
This isn’t just a labor shortage — it’s a knowledge gap. As older generations retire, decades of hands-on expertise are being lost, and not enough young professionals are entering apprenticeship programs to fill the void. Reports from McKinsey & Company show that in some trades, there are as many as 20 open positions for every new qualified worker.
At American Legacy Consulting, we partner with companies to strengthen their workforce from the inside out — through leadership development, retention strategies, and next-generation recruitment solutions. Together, we can rebuild the pipeline of skilled professionals our industry depends on. 💪
