Van Goethem Septic Systems, Inc. is humbled and honored to announce the recipient of our 2025 "Thank You / Lend-A-Hand" Program — Brad and Jolene Doperalski and family.

Brad and Jolene are both proud Navy veterans who have faced many challenges over the years, particularly with ongoing health issues. Despite these hardships, they have shown incredible strength, resilience, and dedication to their family and community.

Both Brad and Jolene have battled various cancer diagnoses, along with the heavy financial burdens that come with such health struggles. Brad is currently 100% disabled, and Jolene works full time to support their family. Over the years, she has had to take time away from work to care for Brad and meet the needs of their household.

The Doperalski family is proud to be part of the Kewaunee community. Many may recognize Brad for his continued dedication to coaching Kewaunee grade school football.

We are truly grateful for the Doperalskis’ service to our country and their continued service to our community. It is with great pride that we were able to "Lend-A-Hand" by providing assistance to help them with their septic system replacement.

Thank you, Brad and Jolene, for your sacrifice, your service, and your strength!

Each year, we may select one or more individuals or families experiencing significant financial or personal hardships to receive either a fully covered or partially funded septic system installation or major septic system repair. It’s our way of lending a hand to those who need it most.

We were pleased to host an informational demonstration of our treatment tank manufacturing process for several of the newer regulators/inspectors of Northeast Wisconsin. Our goal was to offer a hands-on opportunity to gain insight into the materials, methods, and quality standards that go into the production of our concrete treatment tanks.
Following the demonstration, CeCe Rudnicki (The Septic Gal) and Tim VanderLeest from Wisconsin DSPS shared their expertise by conducting a review of soil borings provided onsite.
We want to extend our sincere thanks to all who attended, those that shared their knowledge and to Carew Concrete for their support with the demonstration. We also appreciate the efforts of their Quality Control specialist, who showed the sample collection process and conducted testing on the concrete delivered that day.
