🌱 Let's Talk Lawns 🌱
One of the biggest conversations we have with customers is about expectations when it comes to Lawn & Ornamental services.
Your lawn is a lot like your flower beds, shrubs, or even your vegetable garden—it requires ongoing care. You don't mow your grass once and expect it to stay perfect all year. You don't water a plant one time and expect it to stay green and healthy forever. Lawn an ornamental care works the same way.
That's why we service lawns on a monthly schedule throughout the year, even during the winter months. Every visit includes an inspection and service report with recommendations specifically for YOUR lawn.
We strongly encourage customers to read these reports because they contain valuable information that can help improve results between visits.
Another thing we talk about often is that every lawn is different. There is no "one-size-fits-all" treatment plan. Different grass types, different soil conditions, different watering habits, different budgets, and different goals all play a role in what your lawn needs.
And here's the hard truth...
If your lawn is mostly weeds and we come in and do a great job controlling those weeds, what happens next?
You may suddenly realize there wasn't much grass there to begin with.
We say it all the time: Sometimes it has to get uglier before it gets prettier.
Can we bring most lawns back? Absolutely. We're very confident in what we do. But success doesn't come from one treatment. It comes from consistency, proper watering, following recommendations, and having realistic expectations.
After the severe drought conditions we've experienced, there are some lawns and areas that simply won't recover on their own. In those cases, additional steps may be needed to get the lawn where you want it to be.
So let's have a conversation.
✔️ What do you want from your lawn?
✔️ What are your goals?
✔️ What does success look like to you?
Because some people want a perfectly weed-free lawn.
Others just want a lawn that's green, healthy, and enjoyable for their family.
Believe it or not, this picture is my own lawn. Is it weed-free? Nope. But it's green, healthy, lush, and free of damaging pests and disease.
At Dakota's Pest Pros, we believe every lawn has a story—and every lawn deserves a plan that's built specifically for it.
Let's talk about yours. 🌱
