Florida Lawn Ninja is currently hiring! This crew provides full-service groundskeeping maintenance for a chain of retail stores in the Jacksonville and St. Augustine areas.

Starting location each day is in St. Augustine, FL 32086.

This person will primarily be serving on a crew that does one-off projects such as: mulch and landscaping installation, property cleanups, irrigation maintenance, tree trimming, etc. This role will also provide backup property maintenance support that includes: operating a zero-turn lawn mower, string trimmers, edgers, blowers, and chainsaws; picking up trash.

Candidate must:
-Enjoys working outside and is able to stand, walk and work at a steady pace all day.
-Lift up to 50 lbs.
-Have integrity and a "can-do" attitude.
-Have reliable transportation to and from the starting location each day and be on time every day.

This position often accrues 10+ hours of overtime each week, so your work schedule must be flexible above 40 hours/week.

Job duties will include, but may not be limited to:

-Following instructions from the Crew's Foreman; operating a zero-turn lawn mower, string trimmers, edgers, blowers, and chainsaws; picking up trash; spreading mulch and other landscaping; communicating professionally both in appearance and verbally; and more.

-Standing, walking, and working at a steady pace all day long outside.

We are looking for someone who first-and-foremost has integrity, a good work ethic, and is on time for work every day. The ideal candidate is also independent, efficient, attentive to details, and customer oriented.

You must have a reliable transportation to work each day. This position often accrues 10+ hours of overtime each week, so your work schedule must be flexible above 40 hours/week.

We are currently hiring for a full-time, permanent position on a commercial lawn care crew in the Jacksonville area. This crew provides full-service groundskeeping maintenance for a chain of well-known pharmacies in the Jacksonville and St. Augustine areas.

Starting pay is $15 per hour with a $300 bonus after the 60-day probationary period, if baseline expectations are met. If hired, you will be training for and competing for a foreman position, which would increase the starting pay to $18 per hour.

Job duties will include, but may not be limited to:

-Driving a truck while pulling a trailer; operating a zero-turn lawn mower, string trimmers, edgers, blowers, and chainsaws; picking up trash; spreading mulch and other landscaping; effectively utilizing our online customer management systems; communicating professionally and developing positive relationships with store managers; and more.

-Standing, walking, and working at a steady pace all day.

-Being on time for work every day at 7:00 a.m.

We are looking for someone who first-and-foremost has integrity, a good work ethic, and is on time for work every day. Having previous lawn care experience would be a plus.

You must have a valid driver's license, a good driving record, and reliable transportation.
