The new Ola Soil Premium Living Soil Mix!

This is the 3-part recipe (sphagnum peat moss, cinder, compost) I have been wanting to bring to our customers since the start, but couldn't based on not having a solid local compost supplier.

Since then, I have met amazing people and found a really great supply on a locally made - quality compost!

After testing the compost in my own garden, I can confidently say we found a winner.

Secondly, comes the amendments and minerals.

Growing nutrient dense, clean organic food to heal and build a strong body is one of the reasons I started Ola Soil and the inputs to amend the soil matters to align with that mission.

We were able to source all the single ingredients we were looking for from many different suppliers to dial in the nutrition and mineralization.

The premium mix is amended with neem seed meal, crab meal, and kelp meal.

I could go on and on about the multiple benefits of each ingredient, but the main highlights are:

- Nutrition and natural bug defense from the neem seed meal.

- Nutrition, calcium, and chitin from the crab meal

- Nutrition, natural plant growth hormones, and almost every element on the periodic table from the Kelp meal.

Then, we mineralize the soil with a mixture of local cinder dust, gypsum, and oyster shell flour to ensure that what you grow is nutrient dense.
