Back in April, we evaluated this roof for missing shingles and provided an estimate for repairs.

The homeowner decided to hold off at the time, which we completely understand. Sometimes life happens, budgets get tight, and roof repairs aren't always at the top of the priority list.

Since then, we've had multiple storms and some pretty strong winds move through the area.

Today, there are even more missing shingles than when we first inspected it. Once part of the roof is exposed, the next storm has an easier time getting underneath surrounding shingles and causing additional damage.

What might have been a smaller repair a few months ago can become a larger repair after a few rounds of Texas weather.

No judgment here. We know life gets busy and home repairs aren't always in the budget right away. Just sharing an example of why small roof issues are usually easier to deal with sooner rather than later.

We love milestones and this is a big one!

Since 1993, we’ve been known for shingled roofing. As we’ve expanded our service area into the Texas Hill Country, we’ve also expanded our services. This Horseshoe Bay project marks our first completed metal roof 🏠.

We couldn’t be happier with how it turned out!

We hear this one a lot after a storm.

If you have a healthy roof, shingles shouldn't be blowing off every time the weather gets a little rowdy. When it starts happening repeatedly, it's a good sign that the roof is getting tired, has storm damage, or repairs are no longer keeping up with the problem.

This roof had already lost multiple shingles, leaving the layers underneath exposed to the elements.

There are repairs and patchwork throughout multiple areas of the roof, along with widespread wear and aging shingles.

These photos are the condition of the roof this morning.

Layer after layer of tarping. Old patches on top of older patches. Temporary fixes that have been sitting there long enough to fade in the Texas sun.

Yes, this roof is definitely leaking.

We understand why situations like this happen. Deductibles are high. Costs are up. The economy has people trying to hold things together as long as possible.
