Last night our sponsored team faced our nephew Elliott’s team in tournament play. The game stayed tied and went into two extra innings before our sponsored team, the Yard Goats, finally took the win.

These kids didn’t know who we were or even know we were there watching, but it was so cool to see them play their hearts out. The determination, teamwork, and sportsmanship they showed was incredible. Shoutout to the great coaches and volunteers who dedicate so much time to these kids and make youth sports possible. 💙⚾️

⚠️ A Hidden Danger We Found Yesterday ⚠️

While replacing an air conditioner, Allen discovered a cracked heat exchanger inside the customer's furnace. Something many homeowners never see,

A heat exchanger is what keeps the combustion gases from mixing with the air your family breathes. When it cracks, dangerous gases, including carbon monoxide, can potentially enter the home's air supply.

The scary part? Most cracked heat exchangers don't show obvious signs. Your furnace may still heat the home normally, and many homeowners have no idea there's a problem until it's found during an inspection or service call.

The photos below show the actual crack we found yesterday.

Signs that may indicate a problem include:
• Unusual odors when the furnace runs
• Soot around the furnace
• Frequent headaches, dizziness, or nausea when the heat is on
• A carbon monoxide detector alarming
• An older furnace nearing the end of its lifespan

This is one of the reasons annual furnace maintenance is so important. A trained technician can often spot safety issues before they become dangerous.
