The start of one of our newest projects in Alexandria Virginia. We will be replacing all 4 wall’s of this 113-year old house as well as lowering the basement to give the customer a full 8’6” height ceiling. We will also be adding a couple of egress windows to help the customer turn this house into a 5 bedroom house after the basement is finished.

Have you ever wanted to turn your crawlspace into a basement or just wanted a better storage area? These pictures are of a job we completed in October for a customer that just wanted a bigger storage room. We also installed Grip-Tite push piers under the new foundation of the crawlspace to ensure no chance of any future settlement issues.

Crawlspace before and after. We removed all insulation and v***r barrier. Treated and cleaned floor joist for mold. Replaced multiple joist and main beams. Waterproofed crawlspace, painted joist with Aftershock EPA certified fungal paint, installed ventilation fan, dehumidifier and v***r barrier.
