Certified arborists Chris and Matt Ward led an interactive lesson on the history of Arbor Day and the unique properties of Dawn Redwood trees. Can’t wait to see where the trees end up!

Employee spotlight:

Andy Irizarry grew up farming in Puerto Rico with his family and has a deep connection to the land. Out of necessity he learned how to fix problems with his hands. Andy has had many titles and jobs since then but now he is our lead Mechanic. He not only brings a whole tool box of mechanical ability to John B Ward he is also our English to Spanish translation for our Friday safety meetings. Andy takes on challenges with a smile and his ability to roll with the punches makes him a joy to work with. When he’s not painting trucks, working on equipment or instructing new employees he spends his time at his local church. Thank you Andy and your team (Angel and George) for keeping us on the road. You play a vital role caring for our clients trees and properties.
