🥵 HEAT WAVE ALERT!! 🥵

Folks...next week is looking BRUTAL!

We're expecting temperatures pushing 100°...and around 104° on the 4th of July. Your air conditioner is going to be working harder than it has all year.

Residential A/C systems aren't designed to perform miracles. As the outdoor temperature climbs, your system loses cooling capacity. That means it may not keep your home at the same temperature you're used to...and that's completely normal. Dont panic when you see your thermostat climbing!

Here's how you can help your system survive the heat:

✅ Raise your thermostat a few degrees if you can. Every degree helps give your system a chance to catch its breath.

✅ Don't crank the thermostat down to 68°. If your house is 78°, setting it to 68° won't make it cool any faster...it just keeps the unit running nonstop.

✅ Change your air filter.

✅ Gently rinse your outdoor condenser coil with a garden hose. Use light water pressure so you don't bend the aluminum fins.

✅ Keep blinds and curtains closed, especially on sunny windows. UV window tint helps even more.

✅ Wait until evening to run your dryer, oven or other heat-producing appliances.

✅ Ceiling fans and box fans cool PEOPLE...not rooms. Turn them on where you're spending time.
