A look inside the work happening at Oasis in Raleigh, NC.

Walking through the site, it’s hard not to notice the amount of support and coordination involved in this stage of construction. The extensive shoring system overhead is helping support the concrete structure while work continues below. It’s a behind-the-scenes look at the planning and ex*****on that go into a project long before the finished space takes shape.

A different view of Firestone in Martinsville, VA.

Walking the site, this section immediately stood out. The new concrete curb creates a clean transition between the building and the surrounding sitework, while the grading and excavation around it show just how much is happening beyond what meets the eye.

The curb work is in, the site is taking shape, and you can start to see how all of the different pieces are going to connect once the project is complete. There’s a lot more going on here than what you can see in one photo, but this gives a good look at some of the work happening beneath the finished product.

A week later, and the TownPlace Suites site is really starting to take shape.

We’re back in Shelby, NC, and the difference from our last update is easy to see. The masonry structures continue to rise, more of the building layout is coming together, and materials are moving throughout the site as work continues.

From above, you can really see how much is happening across the property. What started as an open site is quickly becoming the footprint of the future TownPlace Suites.

We’ll keep checking in as this project continues to move forward.

Back at TownPlace Suites in Shelby, NC, and the project is starting to take on a whole new look.

Masonry is rising, materials are staged throughout the property, and the footprint of the future building is becoming much easier to see. What started as the early stages of a new jobsite is quickly turning into something you can really visualize.

We’ll keep following along as this project continues to build upward. 👷‍♂️

Back at the TownPlace Suites jobsite in Shelby, NC, where materials are beginning to make their way onto the property and the project continues to move forward.

It may still look like an early stage jobsite, but these are the details that start turning an open site into a building project. We’ll be keeping an eye on it and sharing the transformation along the way.

We’re officially underway at the TownPlace Suites in Shelby, NC, and we stopped by to get a look at the site as work gets started.

This is the kind of view we like to see at the beginning of a project, a wide-open site with plenty of potential and a lot of work ahead. From this point forward, we’ll be watching the property transform piece by piece as the project moves from the early stages toward the finished hotel.

A lot has changed at the Outbox Storage jobsite in Charlotte, NC since our last update.

The site has been undergoing extensive grading and excavation, with crews moving material, establishing elevations, and preparing the property for the construction ahead. Underground utility work is also beginning to take shape across the site, with excavated areas and utility locations visible throughout the property.

This is one of those stages where you really get to see the amount of work that happens before the building starts going up.
