Got the cabinet sanded. Gave it two coats of primer and the first coat of cabinet paint. The top will be veneered with birch veneer. What’s left? Build the base for it to sit on and attach the wheels, build the other drawer and mount it, build the door for the filter cabinet part, cut and put the backer on. Still some work but good
progress.

New Tool addition to the shop. This is the Kreg Mortisemate Loose Tenon Jig. It’s a step up from pocket holes. This was easy to setup and get to work with putting together the face frame for the laser engraver cabinet. Some minor adjustments to the stops but overall it’s worth the money spent.

Been working on this project longer than I was hoping too!! The hidden drawer for back one gave me a challenge. Excited for the final project outcome.

Needed a stand with storage for the laser engraver. This upgrade will help organize the office and make it functional. There will be a drawer for storing some small supplies and another on the other side to put extension tables for conveyor of the laser to create large projects.

Making the cabinet of MDF and taking the time to lay out everything utilizing a biscuit jointer to cut the slots do the biscuits. The entire thing will@be glued and biscuits. The last image is the one side glued up to the two shelf’s with the divider for the filter system. Will let it all dry to continue gluing the pieces.

We have a happy customer with the install of their new half fireplace wall. The last week has been super cold and glad they get to use it to fight Jack Frost here in South Georgia. The mantel is a 1 13/16” thick, 8” wide and 72” long piece of beautiful mahogany. It was sealed with and the board is from . ❄️
