Our office will be closed until this Tuesday Aug 18th. We were blessed with one of the busiest seasons ever this spring and summer and everyone needed a little time off to recoup and get kids to school etc. for the new school year. The guys will be back at it Tuesday morning bright and early and the girls will be in office Tuesday morning at 8 am. Email is the best way to reach us at [email protected] if you need us before then. Tuesday morning all calls, texts, will be returned.
Thank you to all of our loyal customers for your support and understanding this season. And an extra big thank you to our customers that have been patient while waiting for bids, jobs etc. We worked as quickly as possible to get to everyone timely with the heavy work loads. Most of you rocked it and understood. We appreciate that. We know bids/quotes especially ran a little late at times with the heavy loads we had, combined with the new baby that made her surprise debut, as well as facing grief from family losses. Even though some appointments ran later than normal at times we love visiting with each one of you and would never cut a visit short. Those of you that stood by us while we navigated things during this hectic time you mean the world to us loyally helping us support our families and give back to the community.
This season for several reasons was rough for our family. We are still overwhelmed at the graciousness shown especially around the time right before, during and after the baby came. Also due to deaths in our families and unexpected serious illness and hospitalizations with family members. Babies and illness/death do their own thing and come at unexpected times. We have had to reschedule, and ran behind more the past two to three months than in all the years in business. Those of you that know Curtis personally, being late is his pet peeve. Maybe he was being taught a lesson in patience himself by God.
One example of how awesome some of you have been…One patient customer was rescheduled 3 times for her quote and then due to a previous bid before her time slot running longer her actual appointment was delayed again by about 30 minutes. Curtis didn’t want to devote that previous customer’s time on the phone so she wasn’t able to be notified until he was back to the truck. This is something that rarely happens. When Curtis tried to call her his signal was bad…happens a lot around Llano. Sabrina was on the other line with a customer so couldn’t hang up to notify her he was running a little behind for a few minutes. This sweet lady not only was so kind and not angry to wait but she also scheduled extra work and is sending a gift for the baby. That’s our hometown love, loyalty and support that makes it worthwhile. Whether it’s you guys giving back to us with graciousness shown or us donating tree work, discounts, rearranging schedules to accommodate emergencies, supporting our local sports teams…it takes a village. That’s what being local is about.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We appreciate all of you and your kindness while we rest up. Love from all of us here at Curtis-C.
