Well... our trip got off to a VERY exciting start! 🐻😳
We made a quick family trip to Sevierville, and as soon as we arrived at the house we were staying in, we carried one load of luggage inside. We stepped back out just a few seconds later, and there was a HUGE black bear... completely in my van! 😳
Before we could do anything, the bear climbed out of the vehicle with a full 1½-pound slab of Cornucopia homemade fudge in its mouth. 🍫🐻
Let's just say... there was no getting THAT back! 😂
I guess even black bears know where to find the good stuff! We won't be enjoying any fudge on this trip, but I'd say our unexpected visitor definitely approved of it.
Moral of the story: Always lock your vehicle... especially if there's Cornucopia fudge inside! 😂🐻

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who stopped by Cornucopia today. Whether you came to shop, spin our brand-new prize wheel, enjoy some gourmet popcorn and homemade fudge, play games, or just stop in to say hello, you made today so much fun. We truly appreciate every one of you!
Seeing so many smiling faces and celebrating Fun Fest with our amazing community is what it's all about. We couldn't have asked for a better day!
Now it's time to get back to work because we'll be spending next week preparing for another exciting Fun Fest weekend. We'll see you at the Fun Fest Parade on Friday and the Downtown Street Fair on Saturday. We can't wait to keep the celebration going!
❤️ Fun Fact!….For those of you that don’t know….the young lady in the picture is my oldest daughter, Abigail, and she got married just a few weeks ago! 💍 It's hard to believe how quickly time flies, especially for those of you who have watched her grow up around Cornucopia.
If you have a favorite piece of marriage advice, leave it in the comments below! I'd love for Abigail to read your words of wisdom as she begins this new chapter.

Another successful popcorn fundraiser is in the books! 🎉🍿
A huge congratulations to a local volleyball team for doing an amazing job selling our gourmet popcorn to raise money for their season. Their hard work paid off, and they earned valuable funds to support their team!

🇺🇸 Tomorrow is one of the biggest days of the year for Cornucopia! 🇺🇸
With Red, White, & Boom bringing thousands of people downtown tomorrow night, I was given the opportunity to set up the food truck on Main Street.
After a lot of thought, I decided to focus all of my attention on serving you from inside Cornucopia.
Tomorrow is expected to be extremely hot and humid, and I want everyone to stay safe and cool. Instead of standing outside in the heat, I’d love to welcome you into our air-conditioned store where you can grab all your favorite treats before the concert and fireworks. Plus, we have a big party room where you can hang out in the a/c before the festivities begin!
We'll have plenty of:
🍿 Gourmet Popcorn
🍫 Homemade Fudge
🥤 Ice-cold drinks (including our old-fashioned glass bottled sodas)
🍭 Fresh Spun Cotton Candy
🍦 Ice Cream Novelties
🍌 Frozen Bananas..and lots of other delicious treats!
As a small business owner, I truly count on days like tomorrow to help keep Cornucopia going throughout the year. Since I can't be in two places at once, I've chosen to put all of my time and energy into making sure our storefront is fully stocked and ready to welcome everyone.
