Site work is ongoing on the Select Genetics' pad site at ParkEast Industrial Park in Goldsboro, NC. With work in progress and a $58 million investment, this project will not only boost our local economy but also create 26 new jobs at the advanced turkey egg hatchery! 🦃

Everett's Clearing & Grading, Inc. has been preparing the site, and Jackson Builders Inc. is to handle the building construction.

Select Genetics, a leader in the turkey industry, produces over 150 million turkey eggs annually, and this new facility will further improve their operations.

EDR is excited to see this project come together!

Well maintained, newer model trucks. Requires minimum of 3 yrs experience. No more than 3 points on MVR. M-F 45-50 hrs/week. Rare occasion to work on Saturday. Experience hauling asphalt is a plus. We appreciate our relationship with the NCDOT and Jackson Builders.

With building plans adjusted for the maximum use and efficiency of the site, site work has resumed as the pad site is being prepared for the building phase. Stormwater management infrastructure has been started.

A big shoutout to Everett's Clearing & Grading, Inc. for clearing the site and preparing the pad for what's to come! We are looking forward to Jackson Builders Inc. starting construction on this facility soon.

The future location of Select Genetics advanced turkey egg hatchery at ParkEast Industrial Park will be a great asset to the region. The project will create 26 new jobs and a $58 million investment in our community.

Select Genetics is known for its premium turkey eggs and day-old poults supplied to independent farmers and major brands like Butterball. With its headquarters in Minnesota, the company's operations span nationwide, producing over 150 million turkey eggs annually. This expansion will consolidate its hatcheries into a new 100,000-square-foot climate-controlled facility and add new turkey farms in Goldsboro.
