A new chapter begins at Scenic Hill Elementary.

Last week, GENCAP joined students, staff, families, and community partners to celebrate the ribbon-cutting of the school’s new Library and Media Center.

The approximately 3,400-square-foot addition creates a welcoming, flexible space where students can read, learn, collaborate, explore, and let their imaginations take the lead.

For our team, this project has been about more than building a new space. It’s about creating a place that will become part of these students’ everyday experiences and support learning for years to come.

We were especially grateful to celebrate alongside the students we’ve gotten to know throughout the project. Their enthusiasm, creativity, and thoughtful thank-you messages have made this project one our team will remember.

Eastrail Flats is the 2026 Gold Nugget Grand Award winner for Best Mixed-Use Project!

We’re proud to celebrate this incredible recognition for Eastrail Flats, selected as the Grand Award winner, the highest honor in the Best Mixed-Use Project category, at the 63rd Annual Gold Nugget Awards Gala. The project was selected from more than 800 entries across North America.

As the General Contractor, GENCAP was proud to help bring this innovative mixed-use community to life alongside MainStreet Property Group LLC, DAHLIN Architecture Planning Interiors, and our talented project partners. This award reflects the collaboration, expertise, and dedication of everyone who contributed to Eastrail Flats.

Construction is underway at the Kenmore Public Works Operations Center!

Progress is already taking shape on the Admin Building, including the first concrete pour for the building footings and elevator slab.

This $7.3 million project is part of the City of Kenmore - Government’s Phase 2 development plan and will provide a modern, functional facility to support Public Works operations for years to come.

We’re proud to be partnering with the City of Kenmore on this important investment in the community and look forward to sharing more progress as the project takes shape.

This past Saturday, we celebrated the official ribbon-cutting for the new Snohomish County Fire District 4 Station 41.

It was an honor to partner with Snohomish County Fire District 4, Lawhead Architects, and everyone involved to deliver a facility that will serve firefighters and the community for decades to come.

Station 41 provides modern spaces designed to support emergency response, enhance firefighter wellness, and improve operational readiness, ensuring first responders have the resources they need to protect the communities they serve.

Thank you to Snohomish County Fire District 4 for trusting GENCAP with this important project. Congratulations to everyone who helped bring this vision to life.

We’re excited to continue our partnership as we begin construction on Station 43 in the coming weeks, followed by Station 42. We look forward to helping deliver the next generation of facilities that support the firefighters who serve our communities every day.

A major milestone is in the books at the City of Covington Maintenance & Operations Building.

Last week, our team successfully placed more than 180 cubic yards of concrete for the slab-on-grade, marking another significant step toward bringing this important facility to life.

Milestones like this are built on teamwork. From the estimating team that helped secure the project to our project management team, field crews, and trade partners who brought the plan to life, this achievement reflects the collaboration, planning, and craftsmanship of everyone involved.

Congratulations to the entire team on this successful milestone. We’re excited to keep the momentum going and look forward to sharing more progress as construction continues.

We’re proud to celebrate the completion of ’s new Station 41!

Join the Fire District for a ribbon-cutting and community open house on Saturday, July 18, from 1:00–3:00 p.m. Tour the new station, meet firefighters and staff, explore the apparatus, and learn how this new facility will support the community for years to come.

You’ll also get a preview of the future Station 42 and Station 43 projects, which GENCAP is proud to be building as part of our continued partnership with the District.
