Rainier Scholars is an organization that sends Students of Color to a paid University education with a challenge that starts in fourth grade. These students are selected from families where none have been to college before, and from a background of their own hard work at school. This model helps break generational poverty with successful positive role modeling. We have supported Rainier Scholars for eight years straight, as our largest charity by far, please consider joining us in this great cause. As a side note, I went to college because all my friends did as well as the majority of my family. These kids don’t have that. We can help with a change there.

Today we celebrate Louis Leewens, the man who made this all possible. He would have been 90 years old today, and would be proud of what Leewens has achieved since his passing in 1994. His wife Sheila and her children continue on with the ethics that he instilled in them to make sure we do the best we can in what we do. Happy Birthday Louis, we miss you every day!
