Great news! That cold snap we had last week or so, froze off the Bradford Pear flowers.
The spring will smell wonderful!

Wednesday brought much needed rain and a tractor trailer load of trees from Pea Ridge Forest! We stocked up on some great natives and proven cultivars. We also brought in some very durable trees that we think will be very successful with the trending weather changes. Trees like fruitless and thornless Osage Orange 'White Shield' which is very tough as a street tree or other poor soil areas while having a broad canopy and beautiful orange hue to the stem and branches. And, Miyabe Maple with the same soil tolerances and fast growth habit while remaining strong. Arboriculture IS the care of trees, and we like to do it from day one.

Things we find in trees. This was our first time on this site, but not the first time we've witnessed this. Each tree gets a critical inspection when our team is asked to care for a tree. Dedication is key to tree preservation.
