Last Job of 2022. Waterproofing & Driveway Replacement in Willowick.

Every major rain event would cause this basement to flood.

After further inspection, through multiple sources, It was concluded that the rear basement wall was the culprit. It was cracked in multiple places allowing water to pass through. On top of the issues with the wall, the footer drains were completely crushed allowing all the water from the rest of the working drain to sit stagnant on the back wall.

After carefully Excavating & Power washing we leave everything to dry. Once fully dried we applied a healthy amount of hydraulic cement to the cracks only. After drying, we applied two coats of the same material to the entire wall, letting each coat cure before the next. afterwards, we applied two coats of Tar and let it dry while installing new footer drain tile. Once installed we backfilled with 20 tons of washed gravel and capped the top with a layer of clay.
