Grease trap and water and sewer utility connections are complete at the at Plaza Collina project site in Clermont. Crews are working on the concrete foundations for the two dumpster pads on the north side of the project and grading the site for concrete curbs.

Shake Shack will be the first of three tenants to open when building and site construction are complete.

KPM Franklin welcomes Tim Case as a senior engineer in our Orlando engineering department.

Tim graduated from the University of Minnesota with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering and arrives with more than a decade of experience in site development and infrastructure planning across residential, commercial, retail and municipal projects.

When he is not playing golf or spending time at the beach with his family, Tim volunteers with Team Rubicon, a veteran-led humanitarian organization that serves global communities before, during and after disasters and crises.

Last week, KPM Franklin attended the ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating the completion and opening of the UCP of Central Florida UCP Kissimmee Charter School Dr. Don & Cindy Diebel Campus.

KPM Franklin provided civil engineering and landscape architecture design services for this facility on 8.7 acres that will provide education and therapy services for up to 350 students. It was an honor for our firm to help bring the vision for this campus to life. The school will serve, empower and have a lasting impact on local students and families.

Construction has started at the Emi on 50 multi-family residential project in Orlando, Fla.
These aerial images show progress on the installation of underground stormwater vaults, nutrient box and water polisher which are part of the overall drainage system designed by KPM Franklin engineers to collect and filter rainwater for this 2.23-acre site.

The Ironworkers Local 808 shop expansion has started with construction crews installing a potable water pipe to tap into the existing water main. Next, crews will install a sanitary line that will connect to the existing sanitary sewer point and manhole.

KPM Franklin is providing land surveying and civil engineering and landscape architecture design services for this 2.79-acre site in Orlando, Fla.

KPM Franklin’s Kissimme office received Dr. Kevin Mackie, UCF’s engineering department chair, and Dr. Woo Hyoung Lee, UCF’s engineering department director of graduate programs, and Dr. Peng (Patrick) Sun, Ph.D., assistant professor and RISElab director, to learn more about UCF College of Engineering & Computer Science graduate engineering programs, department updates and the department’s robotic and UAV-based sensoring research.

Construction is underway at the Steven’s Plantation single family residential project site in St. Cloud. KPM Franklin is providing civil engineering design services for this 348.9-acre development.

Our first aerial flight shows how construction is progressing on stormwater ponds and other infrastructure. Crews have installed concrete curbing on Parc Royale and initial grading is underway.

Our civil engineers and planners completed a conceptual site plan approved by the City of St. Cloud, provided permitting assistance with Osceola County and the South Florida Water Management District.

The approved set of construction documents completed by civil engineers in our Kissimmee office includes a survey map and overall site, demolition and erosion, geometry, grading and stormwater drainage, marking and signage, utility and vehicle tracking plans.
