Did you know that when you hire us, you're supporting more than just our small business? You're helping support other local businesses, too!

We make it a priority to shop local whenever we can. Today, while mowing all day in the Village of Hanging Rock, we filled our equipment up at Bwc Trucking. We also purchase all of our gravel, dirt, and river rock from their gravel yard.

When it comes to keeping our mowers, trimmers, and other power equipment running at their best, we trust Gillum's Service & Repair, INC. in Ashland.

We've been on the move today and knocked out about 2 miles of roadway mowing! We also tackled several fields, yards, some extremely steep hillsides, and mowed around well over 100 trees. It's been a productive day, and we're grateful to be down to just two properties to finish tomorrow. Looking forward to wrapping up another great week of mowing! Just in time to do few estimates for on Friday for some landscaping work.

Not a bad day—we got 10¾ yards knocked out today. It would've been 12, but the weather app's "0% chance of rain" came through right on schedule... with a monsoon. Nothing gets your attention quite like looking up and seeing a wall of rain headed straight for you. Guess that 0% was working overtime today.

We had planned to mow all day today and get caught up, but unfortunately the weatherman missed the forecast again.

We were able to get a couple of properties mowed this morning and early afternoon before the first round of rain showers moved in. We had hoped to head back out this evening since the rain was originally expected to stop around 4:30, but the forecast changed again.

At this point, we're calling it a day and will hit it hard first thing in the morning. We appreciate everyone's patience and understanding as we work around the weather.

A interesting fact we was told the other day, when talking to someone about our equipment has been running roughy especially our trimmers. They told us some gas stations are increasingly transitioning to or adding E15 fuel (a blend of 15% ethanol and 85% gasoline. We picked up 17 gallons of NON-Ethanol fuel to see that fixes the problem. We have used it in all of our generators for a few years now cause it prevents gumming in the carburetor, and remains stable for months onlike 87 octane. Only down fall is it’s $4.85 a gallon right now. But if it means our equipment runs better and last longer, it will be worth it.

Like always do your own research and checking, especially when it comes lawn equipment. We are going by what was told to us and few quick google searches.

Just because it's raining today doesn't mean we get the day off. It just means it's time to catch up on maintenance and make a few upgrades to the mowers. If the rain moves out this afternoon, we'll also be wrapping up a pressure washing job.

The trade-off is that instead of taking Sunday off, we'll be out mowing all day to stay on schedule.

The good news? We're rolling out a new-to-us mower this week—a 52" S**g zero-turn! We gave it a quick test run last week on an overgrown lawn, and it performed amazingly. We're just waiting on the new mulching kit to arrive, and then it'll be ready to tackle your yard. This upgrade should help us speed up our mowing schedule and serve our customers even more efficiently.

Just to let everyone know the next 2 weeks our mowing schedule will be a little bit off. But don’t worry unlike other Lawncare companies we will push through even if it means mowing 1 or 2 in morning or cutting yards on Sunday to make everyone is taking care of. We have some things goin on behind the scenes, plus our main trailer possibly going to in the shop the for a few days for repairs after I small fender bender. Also we going to be outfitting our new to us zero turn mower, so we can provide the level of quality our clients has came to love.
