Not all methods for shoreline protection look the same! 🌊

There are different ways to protect your shoreline depending on the conditions.

A living shoreline, using natural vegetation to absorb wave energy and stabilize the bank over time. Alternatively, a riprap shoreline uses stone to create a durable barrier against erosion, especially in areas with more exposure or wave action.

There’s no one-size-fits-all solution. Water movement, soil conditions, and long-term goals all play a role in choosing the right approach.
