If you are listing your property for sale, unless you need a repair before listing it, you should wait on pumping your septic tank. This customer had his tank pumped 2 months ago even though the house was listed already, and had to have it dug out and pumped again to be inspected. We don't like seeing people spend money when they don't need to. (side note, we were not who pumped it 2 months ago, because we would have told them to wait.)
