A customer contacted me regarding a persistent leak issue with her kitchen sink, despite a previous attempt by another plumber to rectify the problem. Upon examination, I determined that a comprehensive replacement of the sink and both drains was necessary to resolve the leak. The customer agreed to the proposed solution. Following the installation, I conducted a test by turning on the faucet, only to discover that the kitchen sink was clogged. After removing several items, I utilized a snake to clear the blockage, a process that took approximately 30 minutes due to an excessive accumulation of grease. The customer acknowledged her fondness for bacon, and I advised her on the importance of disposing of grease through alternative means. She concurred, and after reinstalling the components, the faucet functioned without any leaks or clogs.
