Good morning
As an Arctic clipper falls on to us thought I would remind everyone that is prone to frozen water pipes freezing to make sure you have faucets dripping. There’s very little we plumber can do to fix that problem. Even tho we are always the ones to get called. If you do freeze up open all the cabinets up and crank the heat up in your house and put fans in front of the cabinet blowing air in.
I hope everyone stays warm and gets through this next few days of Arctic temps.

And for gods sake don’t forget about the 4 legged family members they need warmth and water and shelter.

Just a friendly reminder

Just a friendly reminder that if your house has had water freezing up there is a couple of things you should do for the next couple days. Open all your vanities in the bathrooms, open the kitchen sink cabinet up. If you have a fan set in front and blow air into the cabinet. Raise the temp in your house 75 degrees. And lastly set your water in warm position and leave it dripping. Bath tub, sinks, and area that has had problems in the past. Please remember that if you have small children their safety from harmful products in these areas. Hope this helps and please don’t forget the four legged family members.

Our first freeze is coming this weekend a bit of advice check and make sure the furnace is working before the weekend. Change your filters run it through a heat cycle and be ready to use it this weekend. If you have any issues don’t hesitate to give us a call.

Good morning FB!!! It’s where did I leave my hoody season lol

It’s the time of year that I like but I also know it’s a love hate kinda thing love the fall but HATE winter. So with that being said it’s more important now than during the air conditioning season to have your furnace checked out for proper operation. So before it’s full on heating weather have your furnace inspected. Carbon monoxide poisoning is very real and deadly.
So with that being said have your furnace inspected it isn’t that expensive compared to everything else now days and sleep better knowing it’s good for another cold iowa winter. If you don’t have a company that you trust and count on please give us a call. We would be happy to do a furnace check-up for you.

P.S Buy a carbon monoxide detector they are inexpensive and could save your life. If you need directions on finding one please just ask and I will try to point you in the right direction.
