Back out at our Riverbend driveway project checking in on the crew alongside Gregori Hardscape as the new driveway starts coming to life.

After all the grading and base prep work, concrete day is where the project really starts to feel real. These photos show the team pouring, screeding and hand-finishing the new driveway as the curved layout and circular drive begin taking shape across the property.

A project like this takes a lot of coordination between crews, and it’s always satisfying seeing the precision and craftsmanship that goes into every phase.

This Riverbend property continues to come together with a completely reworked driveway layout, updated grading and expanded hardscape designed to fit the property more naturally.

Checking back in on the next phase of our driveway project in Riverbend as the team continues making progress on the new base and grading work.

Now that the old driveway is out, this phase is all about the base.

Our team is bringing in and compacting the new gravel base layer that will support the entire driveway system moving forward. You’ll see the crew spreading material, fine tuning the grade and compacting each layer to create a solid foundation before the next phase begins.

Proper grading, compaction and prep work are what determine how a driveway performs, drains and holds up long term.

This Riverbend property is continuing to take shape with a completely reworked driveway layout, updated grading and expanded hardscape designed to fit the property more naturally.

Before the new driveway takes shape, the old one has to come apart piece by piece.

This early phase of a landscape transformation involves breaking through failing concrete, reworking grades and rebuilding the foundation the new layout will sit on for years to come.

This property is being completely reimagined with a new curved driveway entrance, expanded hardscape and a landscape designed to feel cohesive with the home and surrounding property.

Projects like this are about more than appearance. Proper site work, drainage planning and grading are what make a driveway perform as well as it looks long term.

Meet the team at McReynolds Horticulture & Design. This week, we’re highlighting our enhancement and landscape maintenance team.

This team focuses on enhancement planting, grading, drainage and smaller hardscape projects on existing homes. They’re also responsible for our summer and fall annual installations, along with parts of the bed maintenance program across our maintenance accounts.

On a typical day, you’ll find them demoing existing landscapes, installing trees, sod, shrubs and annuals, as well as trimming shrubs, installing mulch and much more.

The team includes:
• William: team lead
• Pascual “Pac Man”: team member
• Santiago: team member

What sets this team apart is their knowledge of plant material, attention to detail and eye for creating landscapes that stand apart.

We’re grateful for the skill and work ethic they bring to every property and project they’re part of.

At our shared office on Lyons View Pike, seasonal maintenance is also where we get to be creative.

Each rotation is a chance to bring in fresh color—this spring layering tulips and annuals to frame the entry and catch attention from the street.
