We love when the details on the outside give you a little preview of what’s waiting inside.

The stone entry. Those arched steel doors. The contrast of white brick against the dark trim. And once you step inside, those same materials and details carry throughout the home.

Soaring ceilings, exposed beams, a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace, and a kitchen designed for more than cooking—with a built-in banquette that gives everyone a reason to stay awhile.

When the view is this good, you design the home around it.

Morning coffee overlooking the mountains. Doors open on a beautiful afternoon. Dinner outside. A fire going as the sun starts to disappear. And plenty of summer days spent right here by the pool.

Every part of this home was designed to work together—from the kitchen and gathering spaces inside to the covered outdoor living area, terraces, and pool beyond.

When we built this home, the owners had a very specific vision in mind—one inspired by Disney’s Haunted Mansion. From the double porches and intricate ironwork to the columns and cupola, you can definitely see the influence.

This is the stage where you can really start to see it coming together.

Drywall is going up, exterior finishes are taking shape, windows are in, and some of the details we’ve been planning from the beginning are finally becoming part of the home.

A lot is happening all at once, and we love watching each piece come together.

One of the best parts of what we do is the amazing people we become friends with along the way, and Julie Anne Cadman is certainly one of them.

We’ve loved spending time with her, talking through ideas, making selections, and watching everything come together. She brings such a great energy to the process, and we’re grateful to have her as part of the MSH family.

It’s all coming together in Lowe’s Ferry.

There’s something pretty great about this stage of a build, when so many of the details we’ve been working on start coming together all at once.

Custom cabinetry, stone and tile, a beautifully planned closet, and an outdoor living space complete with a pizza oven—there’s a lot happening around this home right now.

It’s down to the final details, and we can’t wait to see this one finished.
