UTILITY FOREMAN/CREW LEADER

Foreman of a 4-5 person underground utility crew installing sewer, water, electric, and storm drainage (no gas). Applicant needs to be proficient trackhoe operator and have good experience installing underground utilities.

This job includes a company truck to go along with other benefits listed below.

Duties
-Setting up GPS equipment and localizing.
-Loading files into data collector (We use Topcon systems)
-Staking/laying out grades, utility locations, property lines etc.
-Working with foremen to provide them with information needed to efficiently complete job.
-Loading files into GPS capable heavy equipment.
-Troubleshooting GPS problems.
-Building 3D surfaces to use in equipment (not required, but higher salary if capable).

Experience Required
-Must have previous layout experience or formal training.
-Must understand basic civil construction.
-Familiar with Topcon

Pay and Benefits:
-Weekly pay for position starts at $900, will pay more based on experience and capabilities up to $1,250 per week.
-Extra pay for Saturday work.
-Company truck that can be driven home (2019 Chevy Silverado 1500).
-Health Insurance available after 60 days employment ($80/mo cost to employee)
-IRA Retirement Plan with 3% company match.
