A crawl space encapsulation is made up of many components working together, and properly sealing the liner is one of the details that helps the system perform at its best.
In these photos, our crew is applying specialized seam tape designed specifically for crawl space environments. Unlike ordinary tape, it's built to maintain a strong bond in conditions where moisture, humidity, and temperature fluctuations are common. By sealing the seams where sections of the liner meet, it helps create a more continuous barrier and supports the long-term performance of the encapsulation system.
While this is just one of several methods and materials we use during the encapsulation process, it's a great example of the attention to detail our crews bring to every project. Small details like these can make a big difference when it comes to managing moisture and helping protect the space beneath your home.
It's not always the parts you notice that matter most. Sometimes it's the extra care taken behind the scenes that helps a system do its job for years to come.
