Motivation Monday 💪🌿

Monday morning reminder: progress doesn’t always look dramatic — sometimes it looks like simply taking something overgrown and making it right again.

This morning we tackled a large hedge row that had gotten well beyond where it needed to be. A little time, the right tools, and some hard work later — what was once overgrown and unruly is now clean, shaped, and under control.

That’s the same mindset we try to bring to every property:

Don’t ignore the problem. Tackle it.
Don’t settle for “good enough.” Make it right.
And don’t be afraid of hard work.

Every job is another opportunity to leave something better than we found it.

THURSDAY THOUGHTS 🚜👨‍👦

Today I got to take my little boy with me to Oneida Equipment to pick up a new cutting edge for the tractor bucket.

While we were there, we had the opportunity to look around at some of the new KIOTI equipment—and let’s just say, he was right at home. 😂

He enjoys equipment just about as much as I do, and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way.

These are the moments I’ll remember long after the job is done. Teaching him, spending time together, and maybe planting a little seed for the next generation of equipment operators. ❤️

Work hard. Build something. Bring your kids along for the ride.

🌳 YARD TIP TUESDAY — STOP LOOKING AT THE YARD. LOOK AT THE PROPERTY.

Here’s a tip most people overlook:

Your property has a story.

A drainage issue in the yard might actually start uphill.
A muddy driveway might be a grading problem.
An overgrown fence line might be hiding a trail that could be opened back up.
Standing water might be telling you exactly where your property wants to drain.

Instead of constantly treating the symptom, take a step back and look at the whole property.

Walk the property after a hard rain.
Look at where water travels.
Check low spots.
Look at tree lines and fence rows.
Notice where erosion is happening.
Pay attention to areas that stay wet or constantly grow back.

Sometimes the best improvement isn’t making the yard prettier…

It’s making the property work better.

That’s where good property maintenance turns into good property management.

Motivation Monday 🙏

You may not see what God is doing, but that doesn’t mean He isn’t working.

Some seasons feel like setbacks. Plans don’t go the way we expected, doors close, and sometimes we wonder why God hasn’t answered yet.

But faith means trusting Him even when we can’t see the whole picture.

Keep showing up. Keep working. Keep praying. Keep putting your trust in God.

What feels like a delay may be preparation.
What feels like a closed door may be protection.
What feels like a setback may be the beginning of something greater.

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.” — Proverbs 3:5

Give us a call if you need storm damage clean up

Here is just a model depiction of tonight's storms.
Please remember this is guidance NOT gospel.
As I've been saying, start paying attention after about 3/4pm and these storms will go through about 8/10pm.
IMPACTS: Damaging wind (the main threat), flooding & flash flooding.
With any severe weather potential, at least most, a tornado threat is not ZERO. But, when you dive into the history of tornadoes in East Tennessee, they are rare and typically small. We get a lot more damaging wind events than anything else.
Something to always understand.
