One year ago today, more than 4,000 local volunteers pooled talents and joined together to help a passionate young couple realize a dream. During the week-long construction project, you lent your assistance with everything from actual building tasks to feeding the multitudes, providing transportation, creating signage, donating tents and materials and providing all types of support services all in the true Volunteer spirit. You braved the rain, the mud, the cold and the dark of night. And thanks to all of you, the Watson family and Restoration House of East Tennessee are able to continue ‘restoring’ the lives of single mothers and their children in Knoxville.
