Sometimes you have to be ready to change course. Between the time of the consult/color selection and the start of the job the wall color and decor changed. Once the first coat went up it was just...wrong! My client completely agreed and we made a change. There are thousands of shades of white that might seem all the same but when it’s wrong, it’s wrong! I was so glad to have caught this error for my wonderful client because with all the time and planning she had put in the LAST thing I could bare would be for her to be disappointed in her kitchen.

Got to refinish a lovely kitchen AND visit one of my dearest friends on the planet. Flew to MN, shipped all my equipment, set up a pop up shop in the garage and battled freezing temps but it was all wonderful! While I was there, I decided I might as well revamp the fireplace surround to blend in with all the other updates - Lori didn’t really have a choice in this matter, it had to be done. ❤️

Cabinets in Alabaster with VanDyke Brown Pinstriping and hardware recoated in hammered bronze. Island finished in Driftwood and rebuilt with extended shelves, new trim, decorative corbels, new epoxy poured island topper and new coffee bar painted to match. Beautiful, warm, welcoming beach vibe - completely changed the feel of this space.❤️

I do get tired of myself at times; here I am once again feeling bad about being so behind on updating my business page. Sometimes just thinking about being behind makes me procrastinate even more. Today, I’m going to be kinder to myself - I’m not “behind”, this is just the way I do it. I get busy and then finally find the head space to update my page all at once. I love what I do and I’m very good at it, I adore my clients and make lasting connections with the majority of them...updating my social media isn’t where I shine and that’s ok.

With that being said, here come a whole bunch of kitchens. 😉
