🌱 **LaBelle Gardening Seed Library FAQ**

🌼 What is the LaBelle Gardening Seed Library? It's a collection of seeds I receive either by self-harvesting, donations from local gardeners, or from seed companies.

🌻 How does it work? Check the seed list on our Google spreadsheet(or send a message for any questions), send a message with what you’d like, and we’ll prepare your packet for pickup.

🌿 Who can join? Anyone in LaBelle and the surrounding areas who loves gardening!

🌸 Is it free? Everything is shared freely for the community.

🌻 Why do you ask for donations? Donations are only asked for to help keep small things running within the seed library, such as paying for the shipping for some donation packages....or purchasing seeds packets and labeling(some seeds from companies come in bulk!)

🌾 Can I donate seeds? Home-saved or store-bought seeds are both welcome. Label them with the name, year, and any special notes.

🌿 Why is seed sharing important? It preserves plant diversity, supports pollinators, builds community, and keeps gardening fun and accessible with no cost

Working out the kinks on my seed packet form 😅 Somehow the first applicant slipped through with no name. And I failed to realize I needed to request contact numbers to alert of pickup. Pages on FB can't randomly talk to people first so I'm having trouble contacting people. 1 has been picked up, I attempted a reach on another, and I'm trying to find Iris!

Just checked the mail and a surprise delivery has arrived! AHHH! 😮😆 Thanks to Virginia Free Farm 💜 we have some nice packs of cucumbers, snow peas, zucchini, fennel, tatsoi, and chamomile! These will be available in the seed station later this week! 🌱

🌱**I won't be announcing exact dates or times for restocks (and no holding of these seeds) to keep things fair for everyone, but keep an eye on the library in June—you never know what treasures might appear**
