We have been asked many times "Who's Norm and Who's Tim"? The back story is that when we started this venture, we had just helped Norm over the "Rainbow Bridge". He had just turned 16 and we took it very hard. We decided to make him our little mascot and we designed our logo so he could travel with us. So many people have shared their personal dog stories both happy and sad. We are off to Powderhorn Art Fair in Minneapolis which takes place Saturday August 1st and Sunday August 2nd from 10-5 each day. it appears there will be 200 vendors so something for everybody!

We had a great time at the Mt. Horeb Festival on the 18th and 19th. The weather was a bit warm, but the shoppers came out to checkout all of the venders. Once again, we met some very nice people and heard some great stories. I've never seen so many trolls and we learned a lot about Mt, Horeb's history. Tim's bringing back the apple box (one of the original boxes he started with). It was designed for LaCrescent's history with apples.

Hoping that everyone had a good July 4th! Ours was pretty quiet as there were no festivals scheduled. We had a great time in Spring Green which means that Tim has been back in the garage building boxes for our next Art Fair which is in Mt. Horeb on July 18th & 19th. This will be our first time there but have been told that it is rich in Norwegian heritage and is also known for being the "Troll Capital of the World"! This box is called "The Canoe" and is one of our more popular boxes. He's made it a bit bigger than normal, and the colors of wood are gorgeous.

We had a busy weekend in Spring Green for their annual Arts and Crafts Fair. Saturday's weather was ideal. Unfortunately, Sunday's weather was a bit challenging but lucky for us, they came prepared with their umbrellas. This is a new piece that we recently added to our collection. I tend to name each piece for inventory purposes so the first thing that came to my mind was "The Face".......agree????

Here's one of the new boxes Tim has built for our upcoming Art Fair in Spring Green tomorrow June 27th and Sunday, June 28th. This is a new destination for us, so we look forward to meeting new vendors and customers. We continue to enjoy hearing stories that customers share about their own experiences growing up with someone in their family that worked with wood and how much they enjoy the finished product.

We are headed to Lanesboro, WI, tomorrow (June 20th) for their Art In The Park festivities which will take place in Sylvan Park from 10-5. There will be 100+ vendors, great music and plenty of food options. They will also have plenty of kids and family activities and the best part... it's free! These are just a couple of the new boxes Tim has added to our inventory. We hope to see you there tomorrow!

It's been busy around here this week! Alot of sanding of pieces and boxes, along with doing final touchups for this weekend's Artspire (Jun 13 10-5 ) and next weekend in Lanesboro (Jun 20). Stop in and see our favorites along with some brand new boxes!
