This is a house we were working on this week in Yorkville that had a section of the house that had a vaulted ceiling. This is were a ridge vent is a must. You can see by the pictures that the vents that were there will only vent that one single rafter and if it doesn’t have baffles the insulation would block any ventilation at all. I see this all the time with vaulted ceilings.

With the recent hail storms you are Prabably getting storm chasers knocking on your door or calling you. Be aware they do some shady stuff when it comes to insurance claims. If you want your roof inspected call us or atleast a local roofing company.
