Same lawn. Different care, 2 weeks apart 💚

The first photo shows what happens when your lawn gets stressed from heat. The second shows what proper watering and fertilizing can do.

We recommend:
✔️ Water consistently during hot weather.
✔️ Feed every 4–6 weeks with a quality slow-release fertilizer.

Are your flowers struggling?!
If they have gotten plenty of sunshine & water (especially on the hot days), but are still lacking those blooms 🌺 & fullness, this fertilizer can do the trick!

✔️ With more phosphorus than most fertilizers, it does the job pretty quick. Just mix with 1-2 gallons of water per container

3 pound bag, only $20
☀️ Use weekly through the rest of summer for best results, but don’t forget extra water too! 💦

Below are a few of the baskets we have down here that this has been used on ⬇️

Here are some tips for those who planted our garlic last fall, or anyone wondering if their garlic is close to being ready for harvest!

🧄 Is it ready ?!?
- Most likely in our area, not quite (but within the next month) be patient and it will be worth the wait. ☺️
The pictures I’ve seen from other local customers growing these varieties, are fully green with some/minor yellow on the leafs/tips. Remember to cut scapes as they appear to push energy to the bulb!

(Photo 1)
💦 You should notice your garlic starting to turn color at the tips & base in the next few weeks, this time is crucial to make sure it continues to get regular (deep) watering once a week if mother natures doesn’t provide. Fertilizer & ☀️ will help a ton and you’ll notice them change quickly.

(Photo 2) Harvest Time!!
🧄 When 3/4 of the leafs are turning yellow (usually starting at the tips to the base) it’s recommended to stop watering for remaining 1-2 weeks to prevent bulb rot and help the garlic form its skin and seperate bulbs. You may also notice garlic falling over during this time, that’s normal.

✅ In the coming weeks/ month, After the garlic has had time to sit without water , you can harvest gently by digging around the base of the garlic (do not try to pull!)

-Gently shake off any loose dirt at the roots and lay out garlic to cure in a single layer. Recommended on a wire rack or upside down in an area out of direct sun, but with good wind flow (add a fan if needed to keep circulation and help dry). Rotate/turn garlic daily or every other day to prevent rot and fully dry. The better you cure/dry your garlic the longer it’ll store!

Hope this helps, let us know if you have any questions . ☺️
