There’s no better time to start getting hot than the weekend before the biggest race of the year, and that’s exactly what dad and I have done 🤙🏼
To start the weekend, Thursday we had a phenomenal racecar with it only being our 4th night as owner/crew chief of it. Granted we started on the front row, we still had to stay in the front of the field, and we brought home the first win of my Midget racing career ☝🏼
Friday we went to Off Road Speedway with the 305, and felt great right out of the gate in hotlaps. 7th to 4th in the heat put me in the redraw, and redrew the 2! Rolled off from 2nd in the A main and led all 25 laps, with rubber laying down hard in the last 12 ish laps and picked up the $3,000 pay day 💰
Eagle Raceway was on Saturday night, we had a lower point average than usual which we started 3rd and finished 2nd in the heat race. That transferred us to the A main and put us starting 6th. Went 6th to 2nd after waiting too long to search for the rubber and found it one spot late.
Finished off the weekend at Huset’s on Sunday, going 3rd quick in hot laps to start the night. Went 4th to 3rd in the heat, and 10th to 5th in the A main.
It was a great weekend for our team, I can’t thank my dad enough for a great racecar all weekend, I’m excited to have the momentum and confidence we have going into a chance at a TON of 💸
