I'm Jackie, NOT a master gardener, simply a passionate flower grower with roots in northern Michigan. My journey into gardening didn't start with formal training - it began with trial and error, family traditions, and a deep love for bringing beauty to life. From helping my mom and grandma plant flowers as a child, to transforming my first home's dull flower beds, I've spent years learning what wo

rks (and most definitely what doesn't). After countless seasons of experimenting, I discovered the joy of growing cut flowers and sharing them with others! What started as a hobby with grow bags on my back porch quickly grew into a roadside flower stand, subscription services, and selling extra stems to local florists. Most recently, I'm expanding my gardens in the countryside, planning a brand new, very large garden, and preparing to launch an LLC! Welcome to Dilly Dally Farm! I'm so glad you're here! Expect things to be a little clumsy, a lot of fun, and wonderfully laid-back as I learn the ropes and grow beautiful blooms right alongside you.

As I close the doors on another tulip season, I just want to say THANK YOU!

Whether you stopped by the stand, purchased a bouquet, picked up a Bloom & Glow Kit, shared a post, sent an encouraging message, or simply cheered me on from afar—you helped make this season so special. Every stem, every conversation, and every visit meant more than you know.

The flower stand will now be taking a little nap during what is lovingly call the “flower gap” season. 🌱 The tulips are finished, and the summer flowers aren’t quite ready yet, so the stand will be closed for a few weeks. My hope is to reopen in July with fresh blooms from the field!

Even though the stand is closed, I’m still happily taking special orders for my handmade skincare products:

As for June, I’ll be spending my days planting out the field, caring for thousands of baby flowers, and working on something I’m really excited about—a flower stand in Alpena that will be stocked all summer long! 🌻

So sorry folks! I was a tad late getting back from my family getaway, but I’m here and the stand is open from 2-6 today and 9-6 tomorrow! The weather is gloomy but stop by and brighten it up with some home grown tulips and skin care products! Located on Atkinson Road in Lachine, MI! The stand will not be open Friday or Saturday this week while I’m out of town spending time with family. I’ll be back and open Sunday (1–6) and Monday (9–6)!

Thank you so much to everyone who stopped by the flower stand this week! I am enjoying getting to know everyone who stops by! For those who stopped by when I wasn’t home today - thank you and I’m sorry I missed you! Every visit, purchase, and conversation means more than you know. 🌷

If you missed the stand this weekend and still have your eye on some tulips, Bloom Butter, Bud Bars, or Blossom Balms, I’ll be making a trip to Alpena on Wednesday and can bring goodies along! If you’re out by me, something can be arranged too 🙂 The tulips are all tucked safely into the refrigerator and staying nice and fresh for you.
