JD Belcher Electric is a PowerPro Premier Generac Generator sales and service dealership serving Central Illinois. for 30 years.

JD Belcher Electric LLC of Lacon, IL was established in 2001. Dale Belcher started the business after his retirement from Caterpillar Tractor Co. He worked as a Journeyman Electrician at Caterpillar Tractor Co. In the beginning the company’s focus was on general electrical contracting. In 2005 we became affiliated with Generac Generators as an authorized sales, service, and warranty repair Generac

dealer. Generac Generators are manufactured in Wisconsin and are the number one selling home standby generator. The demand for automatic home standby generators in our Central Illinois market was large and underserved by the competition. We found that even though generators could be purchased from other businesses, there were not many full service dealers available. We saw this as an opportunity to serve our customers better by focusing on sales, installation, service, and repair of Generac Generators throughout Lacon and surrounding areas. In 2007 we decided to focus completely on Generac Generators. Generac Generators are now our only business. In the past year we have added 4 new factory trained technicians. JD Belcher Electric now provides service to Generac Generator owners in 17 counties throughout Central Illinois. We grew rapidly in both sales and service and achieved Generac Elite Dealer status in 2009. Our number one priority is to exceed our customers’ expectations by providing quality service and a superior product at an excellent value. By satisfying our customers we will continue to prosper and grow.
