We recently completed a high-stakes project in an Ocklawaha HOA community. This massive Oak was not only interfering with high-tension powerlines but also stood in the way of a necessary road expansion.

If you’ve noticed we’ve been a bit quiet on Facebook lately, it’s definitely not because we’ve been taking it easy! In fact, this first quarter has been the busiest, most transformative stretch since we started Kats Tree Service back in 2015.

Between hanging from ropes, running the equipment, and pulling late nights on the backend, we’ve been completely leveling up how we serve Lake, Sumter, and Marion counties.

Here is what’s been keeping us moving:
Serving Our Amazing Clients Daily: First and foremost, the grind on the job sites never stopped. We have been on the ground every single day, working through our schedule and making sure every single current customer received the absolute best tree care possible.

Official ISA Certification: On top of daily operations, I officially earned my credentials as an ISA Certified Arborist. Every job we do is now backed by professional, industry-recognized standards for tree health, safety, and structural integrity.

Upgrading the Fleet for Better Efficiency: To make our job sites safer and faster, we added a Freightliner FL70 chip truck and an Altec chipper to the lineup. I’ve spent my "off hours" bringing these rigs up to par so we can tackle your projects with maximum efficiency.

Our Biggest Blessing Yet: To round out the craziest quarter yet, my wife and I are expecting our 3rd baby to arrive this month! 👶🍼 Talk about wearing a lot of hats!

We are officially back on social media, fully equipped with a premier fleet—including our 60ft spider lift and Vermeer mini skid—and ready to handle your toughest tree removals, precision pruning, and land clearing.

Big news for Kats Tree Service — we’ve officially added a dedicated chip truck and wood chipper to our fleet. 🌳🚛🪵

This investment means faster cleanup, improved job efficiency, and an even better experience for our customers across Lady Lake, The Villages, and surrounding Lake County communities.

Now Is the Best Time for Tree Trimming in Lady Lake, FL — Here’s Why!

We just wrapped up a project in the Hidden Oaks subdivision of Lady Lake where we trimmed two water oaks, removed a cherry laurel, and took out a Chinaberry tree — followed by full debris haul-off and cleanup. The homeowner was thrilled and left us a 5-star review
