We came to prep up this home for the spring for a full restoration. You can say there was some rot on this home. Over 250 ft of repair work done. Check it out! Restoration work later to follow later this year!

-220 linear ft of refacing
-7 deck posts replaced. Installed screw jack leveler so there’s no contact between log and concrete. Prevents bottom end from rotting in the future.

Media blasting complete! We came to remove the failing stain off this home. We media blasted the home using crushed glass. We repainted all gutters,downspouts, and drip edge black as well. Our part complete! Honestly, loving the look of the home as is but the logs need protection! Staining soon to come. What do you guys think?

Project complete! Traveled all the way to Iowa to restore this beautiful home. We media blasted this home and applied the capture/cascade system from Sashco. Did some log repair and stained the deck as well. Client was happy with the results! Thank you to Steve and Maridee for giving us the opportunity to work on their home!

Log replacement complete. There was rot in this corner due to lack of flashing next to gutter. Caused this whole corner to rot. Another section had to be replaced due to failed caulking on a crack. Client was pleased with the results!

Complete makeover! First project of 2025 complete! Had the absolutely pleasure to work on this lovely home. We ended up doing a full restoration. Media blasted the place followed by borate treatment and two coats of stain and topcoat finish. Sealed up all windows/doors with Log Jam. Will be coming back to do the railings and repaint stucco walls!

It’s important to test out the stain on the wood species you are staining! Each log home is made of different types of woods and these different types of species change the appearance of the stain by making it lighter or darker. The color you choose on a catalog may not be the true color you’re getting on your home.

Here we have an extra original log post from the house and we did the samples on it. Client wants wide chinking so the white tape will help them visualize that as well!

Project complete! We had the pleasure to work on this home. One wall had stain that was failing due to a lot of sun exposure and no protection. We media blasted that wall and applied borate treatment. We applied two coats on that wall and one coat on the rest of the walls. We finished off with a topcoat finish to protect it against the sun. We seal up all seams/gaps around the home as well! Two logs needed replaced.

Complete new look! We had the opportunity to work on this Coventry log home. With some TLC, we brought this home back to looking beautiful once again. We removed the old stain by media blasting using crushed glass. Applied two coats of borate treatment. We finished off by applying two coats of WeatherSeal stain! We ended up sealing up all corners and windows to prevent any drafts. We ended up replacing some rotten posts,logs, and deck boards!

House complete! This house had not been maintained causing the stain to fail over time. We ended up removing the failing stain by media blasting. After the borate treatment, we applied two coats of stain followed by a topcoat finish. We ended up refacing some rotten logs as well. We finished off the project by sealing up all seams/gaps with LogJam from Sascho.
Happy the client wanted to add an accent color on the trim! Makes a pop a bit more!
