This is Eric one of our Mitigation Technicians. Eric is new to Veterans Restoration and was actually the first to be hired on to our team when we opened in August! Eric has a wife and a son that he loves spending time with, and he is native to the Lafayette area.

Eric is hoping to be able to retain as much knowledge as possible within the Restoration business so that he can advance further with Veterans Restoration. We can’t wait to see how much Eric grows within our company and are happy to have him!

Hey everyone! This is Hayden and he is our Project Manager! He has been with Veterans Restoration since January of 2022. Hayden started working in our Hagerstown, MD location and he started as a Mitigation Technician. Hayden jumped right in and quickly advanced to his new position and volunteered to relocate to Lafayette to help grow the business in the area!

Hayden is 22 years old and was in Marine Corps boot camp and had an injury which led to him being medically discharged. But, that’s okay because we are happy to have him on our team and see him as a valuable asset to Veterans Restoration!

This is the last weekend you can register for the McAllister Recreation Center’s Fall Esports League! This program is great for all ages looking for a little social competition. 🕹🎮 Games include Madden 22, Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros, and more! Competitions will begin the week of October 3, 2022 and run until November 14, 2022.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Know and follow all job safety requirements

Assure client’s concerns are heard, addressed, and communicated to the Mitigation Project Manager

Assure the job site is neat and orderly, especially before leaving at the end of the day

Setup drying equipment, demo any necessary areas, communicate with customers, document and upload information.

Will work in tough conditions including attics and crawl spaces

PREREQUISITES AND QUALIFICATIONS

No prior restoration service required to apply

6 months of restoration service preferred

Outstanding customer service skills

Interest in learning new skills

Ability to work flexible hours

Valid and insurable driver’s license

Can work alone or with minimal supervision

2.) Check windows and doors for drafts! Heat loss through windows is responsible for 25-30 percent of energy usage!! 😬
4.) Test all of your winter equipment for all possible malfunctions. 💥
5.) Change the batteries in your smoke detector and carbon monoxide alarms! 🔥
