Firewood and log yard was getting a little out of control, so we rented a firewood processor to catch up! Busy couple days but we got a lot done!

Big glue up for this white oak waterfall table. If you ever wonder about what happens when a glue up goes wrong, well you cut it and try again…like we had to with this table. But 2nd time was the charm on this one.

Will post the finished table after stain in a few days.

Here’s another outdoor sign that will be going in as soon as the ground isn’t frozen! Nice to be working indoors on days like this!

But we also don’t want to forget the days of working in an old 1800s barn where Restorations started out and operated for 6 years before we had heat or AC! I often am asked what did you do on days like this? We wore lots of layers and we had bullet heaters to heat the machines up enough that the could start without tripping the circuit breakers in start up!

No matter how many of these tops we make, I never get over the beauty of the heartwood and sap contrast, especially once the finish is applied to it.

❄️ Sunday was amazing at the Restoration Ministries’ Christmas Tree Sale in Tippecanoe County! ❄️

God painted the property in a blanket of pristine snow—a true winter wonderland on the final day of the sale. Outside it sparkled like a Christmas card, while inside the barn stayed cozy and warm, filled with handcrafted woodworking treasures.

Praise God for His abundant blessings on this beautiful ministry! Thank you to everyone who came out and supported this annual event!
