⚡ The crew behind the rewire.

Meet part of the team on our La Palma whole-house rewire. The room is sealed in plastic, the floors are covered, and the new copper is staged and ready to pull. That’s how every interior job starts.

What you get when we show up:
✔ A licensed C10 contractor, fully insured
✔ Rooms sealed off and floors protected before work starts
✔ New copper staged on site for every run
✔ A crew that cleans up before they leave

A whole-house rewire means people working in your home for days. It matters who those people are.

⚡ How old is your electrical panel?

Most homeowners never look inside theirs until something trips. This one, from our La Palma rewire, had been doing its job for decades, with crowded wiring and no room left to grow.

Signs it may be time for a new panel:
✔ Breakers or the panel cover feel warm, or you hear buzzing
✔ The same breaker keeps tripping
✔ No open slots for new circuits (EV charger, AC, remodel)
✔ It’s original to an older home

Not sure about yours? We’ll take a look and tell you straight.

New wire, without tearing the house apart.

On the La Palma rewire, the family’s home stays a home. Instead of gutting walls, we open narrow cuts where we need access, fish new copper through the wall cavities, and land it at each box.

See the white cable marked “”AL””? That’s the old aluminum. The yellow cable is brand-new copper taking its place, circuit by circuit.

How we keep it clean:
✔ Small, planned openings, not full wall demo
✔ New cable fished through existing framing
✔ Every new circuit tested before the walls close
✔ Openings ready for a clean patch when we finish

A whole-house rewire sounds huge. Done right, it’s a lot less disruptive than people expect.

⚡ Bye-bye aluminum. Hello copper.

This La Palma home was wired with aluminum branch circuits, common in houses built in the late ‘60s and early ‘70s. It works until it doesn’t. Aluminum expands and contracts more than copper, connections loosen over time, and loose connections run hot at outlets, switches, and splices.

So we’re rewiring the whole house with copper:
✔ Old aluminum circuits pulled out device by device
✔ New copper run to every outlet, switch, and fixture
✔ New devices rated for the job
✔ Every circuit tested before the walls are closed

Signs your home might have aluminum wiring:
🔸 Built roughly 1965–1975
🔸 “”AL”” or “”ALUMINUM”” printed on wire jackets
🔸 Outlets or switch plates that feel warm
🔸 Flickering lights or a burning smell

Not sure what’s in your walls? We’ll take a look.

Two new ceiling fans + a kitchen GFCI swap.

A ceiling fan isn’t a light fixture. It’s heavier, it moves, and it vibrates every time it runs. Hang one from a standard light box and it’ll wobble, loosen, and eventually come down.

So both fans went in the right way:
✔ New fan-rated boxes, secured to the framing
✔ New wiring run to each location
✔ Balanced and tested at every speed
✔ Wall controls set up for fan and light

While we were there, we replaced the kitchen GFCI.
These outlets are what cut power in a split second when water and electricity meet. If yours won’t reset, trips for no reason, or doesn’t trip when you press TEST, it’s time for a new one.

Adding a fan or checking the outlets around your sinks? We’ll do it right the first time.

⚡ Two stories up, one fixture at a time.

A chandelier this size isn’t a light swap. It’s rigging, structure, and height — and the difference between a clean install and a callback is everything that happens before the fixture goes up.

What goes into a job like this:
✔ A box and blocking rated for the actual weight
✔ Scaffold and safe access at ceiling height
✔ Every cable drop measured, set, and leveled on site
✔ Dimming that matches the fixture and the room
✔ Full cleanup — you’d never know we were here

Foyers, stairwells, great rooms, dining rooms. If it’s high, heavy, or awkward, that’s the call we get.

Main breaker replacement — dish machine circuit.

The building took a surge and it tripped the main. When a main breaker trips on a surge, it did its job — but that’s also the moment to stop and ask whether it can be trusted to do it again.

A main breaker that’s taken a hard hit can weld, weaken, or lose its trip calibration. It may reset fine and still fail to open the next time something goes wrong. That’s the whole building’s protection riding on a maybe.

So we replaced it with a new one:

✔ New main breaker, correctly sized to the service
✔ Torqued to spec — loose lugs are how panels overheat
✔ Connections and busbar inspected for heat damage
✔ Verified under load before we called it done

If your main has tripped after a surge, or the panel smells hot, or a breaker won’t stay set — don’t keep resetting it. Have it looked at.

Commercial and residential service work, panels, and breakers.

⚡ Mastro's, Malibu — kitchen lighting upgrade.

A commercial kitchen is the hardest lighting environment in a restaurant. Heat, steam, grease, wash-downs, and 14-hour service days. The old fixtures in here were dim, yellowing, and hot — and in a kitchen, dim light isn't just annoying, it's a knife-and-hot-line safety issue.

We swapped them out for LED flat panels: ✔ Bright, even light across every station — no shadows on the line ✔ Cool-running, so they're not fighting the HVAC ✔ Sealed and cleanable for wash-down environments ✔ A fraction of the energy draw of the old fixtures ✔ Long lamp life = fewer service calls mid-season

Better light on the line means a faster, safer, cleaner kitchen. The energy savings are just the bonus.

Restaurant owners and property managers: if your kitchen or back-of-house is still running old troffers, this is one of the fastest-payback upgrades you can make.
