C & R Preferred Concrete Pumping in Lake Charles, Louisiana has an opening for a shop hand / general laborer to assist in various tasks around our facility. This would include, but is not limited to, assisting the mechanic, performing routine maintenance such as cleaning, grass trimming, etc. The position would also include riding with pump operators when needed to assist on jobs in the field.
This is a full-time position with a starting pay of $18.00 an hour with the opportunity for overtime. May occasionally be required to work on weekends.
Requirements:
Valid Driver’s License

Reliable Transportation
Must pass a drug screen.

Overview

We are seeking experienced and certified Concrete Pump Operators to join our team. This permanent position involves operating a range of pump trucks Boom and Line pumps. (31M to 60M) in commercial and industrial settings. Candidates must have a strong understanding of both automatic and manual transmissions as our fleet includes both types.

Responsibilities

-Ability to drive and operate concrete pump trucks in a safe and conscientious, timely manner.
-Ensure precise and efficient pumping for various commercial and industrial projects.
-Perform daily pre-operational inspections for safety and preventative maintenance on equipment.
-Communicate effectively with customers and co-workers.
-Adhere to company policies, safety protocols and company timelines.

With the crazy Louisiana weather you never know what to expect. Here at C&R Preferred come rain or shine our employees are always ready to take on the task at hand.
