This is just one of the six shops you will have the opportunity to explore on August 16 along with a free lunch!

The Calhoun County Farm Bureau is hosting a farm shop tour on Saturday, August 16, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. During this free event, lunch will be served from noon to 1:00 p.m. at Calhoun County Farm Bureau Director Nick Burley’s shop (free pork burger dinner).

Throughout the day, you’ll get plenty of ideas on how to set up your new shop or tweak your existing shop to make it more efficient. This self-guided tour includes:
• 9 a.m., M&M Farms/Mark and Melissa Schleisman, 1552 365th St., Lake City
• 10 a.m., Dave and Laura Smith, 3545 Garber Ave., Lake City
• 11 a.m., B&S Tile & Excavation/Brice and Maria Blair, 3260 Fletcher Ave., Lake City
• Lunch: Noon to 1 p.m., Nick and Rita Burley, 3093 Jennings Ave., Rockwell City
• 1 p.m., Calhoun County Maintenance Shed (BJ Musselman), 105 E Court Street, Rockwell City
