I think it’s an upgrade
Original lawn hydrant froze, but it was also installed very close to the ground making it hard to connect hose.
I left the old faucet , they will patch the hole at a later date.

Installed a power vented heater today. Existing chimney had no liner, so had to run new venting through six inches of concrete on rim joist.

Discovered this at a client's residence. This heater was installed by a remarkably skilled individual. ( sarcasm)
Unfortunately, the exhaust was sloped downhill, causing potential carbon monoxide poisoning. Additionally, it is recommended to avoid using PEX pipe on natural gas heaters.

Clients toilet bend was cracked , 1920’s home
