This building sunk 5 inches and we’re lifting it💪🏽

This is Ben and his crew as they begin installing their 21 push piers to stabilize and attempt to lift this Santa Ana apartment building.

They had to drive these galvanized steel piles down to a depth of around 35’ to find competent, load-bearing soils!

Yesterday was lift day in Costa Mesa 🏋🏽🏚️
Matt and his crew installed 10 push piers to stabilize and attempt to lift a small area of this home that had sunk 2.5 inches!

Tomorrow the crew will begin installing their helical piles down to competent, load-bearing soils to stabilize and attempt to lift this hillside home!

We lift homes💪🏽
Over the years this La Habra home had settled, or sank, 10 inches into the dirt. Our team used helical piles driven down to competent soils to lift and stabilize the home.

This was shot while the crews were adjusting their brackets after recovering only about 1.5 of those 10 inches.

Ever seen a home being lifted like this?

We like to use helical piles or push piers to perform a process called underpinning. During that process we can sometimes lift and recover some of the settlement that has occurred.

On Monday we checked in at a new project in Laguna Niguel, CA. Our crew will be installing 14 helical piles here to stabilize and attempt to lift areas of the home that have settled, or sunk, as much at 2.6 inches😳
