I got started while in college mowing lawns and doing odd landscaping jobs for extra income. Those first few years was where I found a love for working outdoors and helping people improve their landscapes. But cutting grass left something to be desired... While attending classes at NDSU I wound up taking a tree identification course and that was what sparked my interest in trees and taking care o
f them. The next year NDSU offered a tree climbing class, along with several other tree care courses and the following summer I interned at the Davey Tree Expert Company in Eden Prairie, MN. While at Davey, I was exposed to the world of arborists and commercial/residential tree care. It was a wonderful experience but living in the "big city" wasn't something that I really enjoyed. So the next summer I decided to begin working in the Lakes area around Detroit Lakes, MN along with the Fargo-Moorhead area offering tree care services. It has been interesting to say the least but I enjoy the challenges and enjoy helping people with their trees!
