some •great• tips from our on how to keep that cool ashy look from going all brassy…

• use a purple shampoo once a week.
our favorites are barcelona || second from left behind shampoo bowl || and no. 4p.

• rinse your hair with cool water.
rinsing hair with hot water actually opens the outer cuticle to allow color to fade faster.
we recommend rinsing with cool water to close the hair cuticle which can help preserve your hair color and prevent fading.

• skip a wash day or two. try to stretch out how often you wash your hair.
one of the best ways to preserve your color and prevent the appearance of fading or brassiness is to wash less frequently.

• come into the salon for a toner in between color services.

• install a water filter to your shower head to remove excess minerals in your water.
and both make great ones, and they’re easy to install!
